Really strange bug I'm experiencing here. I recently purchased TW2:EE on Steam and set the language of the game to English (in Steam).
When I was playing the game, there was no dialogue audio and the characters weren't moving their lips. I googled the bug and apparently it seems to have been fixed a while ago with a patch. Reducing the maximum number of audio channels in the windows sound settings was a temporary fix before the patch was released. Computer Program For Checkers Union more. That I couldn't try because my soundcard only supports stereo output. Out of curiosity, I switched the language of the game to German. Steam then downloaded about a gigabyte of additional content and the spoken audio is now working flawlessly and the characters are moving their lips accordingly. I already checked the integrity of the game files with the language set to English, Steam however reports no errors.
Reinstalling/Redownloading the game did not help. Any ideas how this could be fixed without redeeming and installing the standalone copy of TW2?
