There's free software that is customizable with regards to display options, so for a program that costs no less than $400 for it to function NOT to have customization options is a bit ridiculous if you ask me. A couple of things: A. Better viewing options for differently lit situations (i.e.
Outside in the sun, as opposed to a dark night club setting)::: I can't even begin to think of all the times either myself, or a close friend have had viewing issues with Serato, because of the darker colors that are used in the GUI. Higher customization ability for item placement & size::: This isn't a particularly 'necessary' change, but it would be considerably nicer to have the option to change the location and size of the waveform window, without being limited to the few options for it now. I'm not 100% sure that I would change the size, but the placement is one thing I would definitely change with it. That said, I absolutely love Serato Scratch Live, and continuously insist on using my Serato & 1200's EVERYWHERE I play.
