Download Patch Fifa 2009 Liga 1 Transferuri 2012 Nfl

For the past seven days, I’ve played both and. It’s been years since I’ve had an opportunity to play the games on a powerful video game console. For the past few years, I’ve played FIFA on the Nintendo Wii (which was fun, but not a complete experience).

So now that I have a Xbox 360, I was able to immerse myself in the games and play them without a bias or a loyalty to one more than another. Let me state that I enjoyed playing both FIFA 12 and PES 2012. But now that I’ve had a chance to test FIFA 12 and PES 2012 to their limits, the conclusion I’ve reached is that PES 2012 is far better. Not that there’s anything wrong with FIFA 12. It’s just that PES 2012 is so much better. Here are my five reasons: • PES 2012 graphics are far superior. The graphics in FIFA 12 look like a computer game, while PES 2012 looks very close to watching a game on television. As a perfect example, my wife walked in to our living room the other day and didn’t notice I had a controller in my hands.

She looked at the TV screen and thought I was watching a real match. I was playing PES 2012. • PES’s gameplay is better. Playing PES 2012 feels more intuitive. It seems easier to pass the ball between your teammates, and it’s easier to get past defenders. As a result, there’s less frustration with PES 2012 compared to playing FIFA 12. Bottom line: PES 2012 is more fun to play than FIFA 12.

• The level of detail in PES is incredible. The amount of detail that Konami put into this game is incredible.

The player’s faces really look like the footballers. The players on the field look and act a lot more like the real footballers. In comparison, the players on FIFA 12 (for the most part) seem more generic. Yes, they look like the real stars, but the level of detail isn’t as refined. A perfect example is Robbie Keane of LA Galaxy.

On FIFA 12, he’s svelte, lightning fast and does his trademark cartwheels with ease. If you’ve seen him score for the Galaxy recently, you’ll know the difference. • I love PES 2012’s in-game communication. It may seem like a small and insignificant feature, but I love how you can trade messages with your opponent after key moments in games such as great saves or goals. By pressing a couple of buttons on your controller, you can congratulate your opponent on a nice shot — which is displayed on-screen for both of you to see. It’s especially helpful when you’re playing someone online. It helps you connect to your opponent, whether they’re a stranger or friend.

• FIFA 12 is too much hype and marketing. FIFA 12 by EA Sports looks like a hot date.

A one-night stand who is beautiful on the outside, wears all of the right clothes and has that knowing look. PES 2012 is that partner who is beautiful on the inside, and it’s someone you can develop a long-term relationship with. Compared side by side, I truly believe that PES 2012 is light years better than FIFA 12. PES 2012 is by no means perfect.

The biggest complaint is the licensing agreements, but there are patches available that can quickly resolve the issue. The second biggest grumble is the quality of commentating. Martin Tyler and Alan Smith are significantly better than Jon Champion and Jim Beglin.

The co-commentator Beglin is difficult to hear and understand at times. It sounds like he’s mumbling.

But those issues aside, is highly recommended. But I have to give the edge.

It’s far more enjoyable. Pes is challenging coz the ai is more smart in pes den fifa and it depends on d difficulty u play i hav both games and i think pes is more realistic and awsm compared to fifa after playing fifa for a month i became pro and played in world class online tornament and kept on winning points for madrid. Dats boring after a few days. Den finsihed plating d manager moder for 2 months den stopped playing fifa 12 and bought pes 12 and njoyed chmpions league and story mode final review pes is for those who play soccer games well fifa is for lucky worshipers and players get lucky at a lot of times and com gets u mad. I strongly agree with you man, pes is the real deal, the players look more real, their skills and celebration styles. Just compare c.ronaldo, messi faces in pes with fifa, for pes they look more real.

People alway complain that pes lack licenses but there is a lot of patches to fix that and for pes you can play almost all competition of football in the world like: african cup of nations, euro, american cup, asian cup and uefa cham league plu uefa euro. So for me i’ll say that pes it is a game for peoples who really like to feel the real thing and competition in fooball. I was a Fifa fan back to Fifa 99 days. But after I tried WE4, than it has always been PES all the way until now. I always hear people saying that fifa has been the better game since Fifa 2010. I tried that game, and my first impression is: Wow, this game really copied PES dude. Downright to the basic mechanics of the game.

Hardcore PES/WE players who has explored the notorious “Command List” and go back and forth between the training menu and master league will get this. It’s not that I’m accussing EA Sports for plagiarism or anything. I think it’s Konami’s fault for not effectively sell what they’ve actually got in store. So why did I brought this up? Because you said that Fifa added so much.

So then I looked up the internet about what Fifa added last year. And what came up is like tactical defending where you can call other teammate to harass the opposition. That feature has always been in PES for years. And like this year, fifa will add tactical free kicks where players can add or reduce the number of players in the wall, players can control how the wall moves, etc. Well, that is also has been an old feature of PES. But that being said, Fifa also has improved so much with beyond the pitch features like online plays, licenses and innovative game modes. That is not a bad thing at all.

But honestly, for me, hearing that Fifa is better than PES is like hearing teens saying that The Beatles copied Glee songs. Your points of 1, 3 and 5 are highly subjective/weak.

A former roommate of mine thought I was watching a match on the television and made the same remark as your wife/gf, but I was playing FIFA. “It seems easier to pass the ball between teammates and easier to get past players/opponents”.WTF?! It’s suppose to be a little difficult.

Dribbling past players and not passing in triangles or one-two’s, building up play, etc. Is how it’s suppose to be done and when done right on any game is more satisfying. I destroy/compete very well against players online using Everton and mid-table EPL clubs against crap players using Barca, Chelsea and Real Madrid as I use width, make off the ball runs, etc. You fifth point doesn’t stand a chance when you see so many world-class/known players playing the game and it’s widely known they play the game with their teammates.

You think people around the world wouldn’t play the same game their favorite players play? It’s called licensing/rights/images.it’s a powerful and influential thing that PES will NEVER win. Is your computer sh*t? Hahaha or as the earlier comment said, are you playing with a WII? Lol Listen don’t listen to me youtube PES 12 vs fifa 12, where you will see differences in stadiums, gameplay, and the graphics in detail.

Now if you do not see a difference favouring fifa 12. You are blind and need to go specsavers. Lol I’m not a hardcore fifa fan. I am a football fan, So I play PES cz of champions league, and FIFA for the leagues cz the gameplay and the interactiveness is far better than PES. If Fifa has lisence for champions league PES is not even a competition.

If you don’t agree you must be having a laugh hahahaha. None of those reasons made PES any better of a game. You just basically stated that the difficulty of FIFA was greater than PES and frustrated you more.

The way they run in PES is unrealistic, as well as how easy it is to move past defenders.which is total crap. I have never ever lost a game on PES. And also, computer graphics are far superior to console graphics. That comment was a bit unjust. If you can’t take the heat, play PES.

FIFA 12 is more realistic which is why its so much harder. I play the career mode on world class because i want to actually lose.

Wheres the fun in winning every match? Thats what makes it feel so good when you finally nab that game winning goal. If you want easy then go PES. If you want real, go FIFA. Hey i agree with PES Lovers, i used to ALWAYS play Fifa i was a die hard fifa fan but one day i started playing PES and it was amazing it has way better game play!

And its more challenging where in FIFA you can shoot from anywhere and score which is FIFA is for beginners, if you want a challenge in an actual soccer game PES is they way to go. And.”i rest my case”! And go ahead all you noobs and swear and everything about my comment i dont really care but you guys are all ignorent anyways think you know everything!!!

And YES GO ROMA!!!!! Light years better? Bollocks to that Gaff what are you on about? Long-term relationship?

Better in-game communication? Buy a headset and you can just say what you’re thinking. You don’t have to even press any buttons. FIFA is a stronger, more well polished technical game which is why you probably get so frustrated by it. FIFA makes you lose matches.

Because winning every match isn’t real. FIFA makes derbys harder to win. It makes Cup matches harder and the crowd is louder when you score a goal. PES is a kids game, Gaff. I’ll tell you why because EA has the biggest marketing budget and hype going. Many of those so called impartial reviews are from sites sponsored by EA.

I am continually amazed by this belief that FIFA is a superior game when it is riddled with bugs, formulaic gameplay and poor graphics. Yes just take a look at player likenesses for a start. EA have been consistently poor in their sport simulations. 2k used to thump them at NFL until they bought out all the licenses for instance. PES has it’s faults but all in all it is a superior simulation of the game of association football than FIFA. And PES continues to outsell FIFA in Latin America, Africa and Asia and parts of Europe.

People seem to very much favor FIFA but I agree with the Gaffer — PES is better this year. I got both games (PC) and expected FIFA to the game I’d play, I got PES as an afterthought. Let me also say that I play single player manager mode almost exclusively. I really like the news for FIFA but it seems at the expense of being able to quickly see the standings (those rotate by pretty quick) or any detail about upcoming games (other than a small icon of the teams badge). On the pitch (FIFA) it looks great, although the average player’s face looks computer generated while PES looks mapped from a real photo (which I prefer). The problem I had with FIFA is that the input feels delayed or lagging at times, as though you’re waiting for mini-animations to finish. I realize you have to wait for the players stride to kick the ball, which PES does to, but I always feel a little disconnected with FIFA.

In PES I can forget about what I’m doing and really get into the game. PES also has a superior search system for finding players (although I don’t like how they’ve broken up the stats).

As you said, the licenses can be quickly downloaded and so become a non-issue. The two points, for me, where FIFA is obviously superior are the transfer day deadline (where PES doesn’t even stop on the final day to give one last chance), FIFA effectively gives you nine more turns — which I very much appreciate. Second, there is depth the the FIFA leagues (2nd div, 3rd div, etc.) while PES is largely only the top division — I don’t even think you can get a patch to fix that, although I would gladly sacrifice 3 or 4 of the smaller leagues to get the lower divisions of the EPL. Anyone know of a patch to do that?

Last thought; while FIFA has nice news bits about players liking or disliking something, PES involves you every turn in player talks which seem to affect how the starting lineup for me. Overall PES seems much more immersive and the game I’ll be playing. If you love FIFA — it’s a great game — go play it, don’t bitch about others liking PES. I use to be a die hard PES fan but I’m sorry this review is so wrong. FIFA has evolved over the years where PES hasnt really gone anywhere. No real advancement even the ball doesnt feel or look like its rolling, Its more like its gliding!! Quote: “I truly believe that PES 2012 is light years better than FIFA 12” Wtf are you on?!

The physics in Fifa is more advanced and the players are more intelligent making the game harder and more life like. PES isnt life like and its physics engine is worse than the old game like Pes 2009 for instance which I thought was better than Fifa at the time but after this Fifa just became the game to have. I’ll actually say I agree with all your points individually (except #4 – use a headset), but still say FIFA is the better game. Licensing makes a HUGE difference and unless I’m missing something, there is no way to download the licensing onto the Xbox.

That’s a PC thing. Plus, as Daniel points out, there are no lower leagues in PES. FIFA has them beat by a mile and the rest of the stuff is either on par (graphics are close, maybe an edge to PES) or “close enough” that the licensing and career modes push FIFA into the lead. Best “small” FIFA feature?

Adding all the chants into the game. I spent half a day getting some chants onto CD, for the sole purpose of importing them into my 360 and adding them to FIFA. Check out – it makes such a difference. I amazed with pes2012 new gameplay feature(especially off the ball control coz it make more scoring chances!) i played pes2011 alot, the pace is lot more peacefull(where i still have time to set up some strategy and attacking level some time) but when 2012 it was too fast for all thing but gladly they introducing presets on select+b! And passing assistant(i dont really like iti still prefer 2011 passing system where i can make the through ball alot more succesfull) so then i play fifa12(demo.) seem funny, luv it but pes12 do alot more better on gameplay.so i just wondering “what if fifa12 engine is brought into pes12” sure is greatsome one?

Im a die hard PES fan since PES 3,i agree with u totally, PES 2011 was better than 2012, slower paced, you can build up play with precision, pes 2012 is too fast, unrealistic at times, plus super human CR7 and messi, it’s frustrating, and its hard to get used to the off the ball passing feature, it’s the first time i don’t play PES regularly, on the other hand i would like to mention about in FIFA, is the player control, dribbling is really cool in fifa 12, u have more time on the ball when u are close to penalty area, that’s all, all other thing are PES. This deserves a rewrite.

Seven Reasons which PES 2012 does better than FIFA 12. Unpredictability, no game ever plays the same. What all games should aim to be so that it wont have a shelf life. Diversity and Individuality, it is possible to efficiently play any style of play.

Tweaking tactics and formations create a major change in how the team plays. It is possible to attack and score in many different ways. Long balls for the first time in ANY football game can be efficiently used whenever you have a tall striker as a target man.

Individuality for players is much more pronounced. The difference between a good player and a bad one can be judged by feeling alone. Artificial Intelligence.

The off the ball movement is head and shoulders above fifa’s one. The off pitch movement, lighting, and graphics, intro scene before the match with the eufa champions league theme song.

Graphics are a personal preference. I just dont like the cartoony graphics that FIFA 12 have.

Much better edit mode. Love the community option files. Love making all the different kind of stadiums. Master League in PES 2012 is still better than Career mode in FIFA 12, particular due the the depth of the mode. I’m going to add a seventh for personal preference. The so called “tactical defending” in PES 2012 is much better implemented than FIFA 12.

To balance things up, Five things why PES 2012 is worst than FIFA 12. Its funny how the easiest thing to improve is not top priority in the next gen games for Konami.

Animations not only makes the game look realistic, it adds depth to the game(all the different touches, passing and shooting manoevres can be put in). Manual shooting and crossing. Seriously, what? I mean this is pretty easy to code in Konami. Its practically similar to the passing and long balls in the box code. This means that in PES 2012 once your player reaches to the side of the penalty box, once you click the long cross button you have no control over the direction of the distance of the cross.

Heck L2 manual modifier doesnt work either. Impact engine. Once you have played FIFA 12, the animations performed during collision means that PES 2012 instantly becomes outdated. Consistency within gameplay.

Paticularly to the slight unpredictability in passing, and 1 on 1’s between defender and attacker. In my opinion though PES 2012 plays a better game, it is far less polished and finished compared to FIFA 12. I mean Doesn’t Konami even test the game? There are just so many niggles. That being said, if you are a PC gamer, buy PES 2012. There’s one guy called jenkey who patches the gameplay that fixes all this annoying stuff in the gameplay.

Gaffertalk about stirring the pot. Graphically, there are some things that both get right and wrong. Facial features FIFA gets a little bit better than PES, but as far as stadium and dynamic lighting, yeah, PES brings it in spades. What i would like to see in these games is dynamic lighting where if you are playing an evening game as it gets darker, the lighting changes to reflect that. Good couter argument to my article. I think we both have started something!

(next up FIFA Manager vs Football Managerit’s coming, I just know it.). Oh yeah forgot to add some more comments on “Five things why PES 2012 is worst than FIFA 12.” at the number 5 section.

Just dont like things unfinished and not spoken to avoid rants and arguments. Consistency within gameplay. Paticularly to the slight unpredictability in passing, and 1 on 1′s between defender and attacker. Goalkeepers are abit of a hit and miss, sometimes brilliant, sometimes just stupid. Lastly over reliance on the super cancel button or maybe bad coding especially during through passes and defending through passes.

Well, I’m going to ignore the obviously retarded fifa fanboys (or maybe fangirls is a better word since they cetainly whine like girls when the superiority of PES is placed in front of them) ans state that on these current gen consoles it really comes down to a matter of preference. BOTH game have now reached a stage where they are both good. It’s no big deal arguing about which is better anymore because they are more or less equal.

PES has now caught up to FIFA on this current gen console. But now let me say why in the battle between the games PES WON. ANYONE, can program a great looking/playing game with the kind of hardware now available.

But PES made fantastic games with the limited hardware of the PS1 and PS2 when FIFA could only manage utter garbage. (fifa 99 anyone?) man the graphics on fifa 99 were trash. The entire graphics team should have been fired. By contrast the PES games were brilliant at the time. Anyone who doesnt agree, doesnt know football. That was where the real battle between these two games was fought. ANE PES BLEW FIFA AWAY.

I’m not a die hard Fifa fan. I was a die hard PES fan for 10 years ever since the first Pro Evo in 2001. More importantly I am a football fan and I like football games to be sims not arcade. This year Fifa 12 is a better Football-sim.

It has it faults (but many of them can be tweaked using the sliders etc) Even when I was a die-hard PES fan I never made a claim that PES being better on graphics. Back in 2006/7 the animations in PES were better than Fifa. This year it is almost embarassing to watch the player movements in PES. That being said, It has nothing to do with the “fun-factor”. A friend of mine who played Fifa until 2007 is now a die hard PES fas.

He is the kind of guy who constantly holds the spring button and hopes for the best. Needless to say he wasn’t exactly happy when I forced him to play a few games in Fifa 12.

He constantly complained why he couldn’t just raze past defenders holding the sprint button and why could not just tap the pass/cross/shoot button to produce and score goals. I realized then how the tables have turned and that Fifa really has dethroned PES as a football-sim.

When it comes to electing the most enjoyable football game I understand why people will become frustrated with Fifa. You have to work hard to win the ball and play defence, just like you have to work hard to keep the ball (so that you don’t have to work hard to win the ball again lol) I understand why PES 12 can be a more enjoyable game. Sharp Ar-5620n Driver. I’m still hoping Konami will turn the ship around and start producing the high quality football-sims they used to in the past. They proved by creating a masterpiece like PES 6 that they have it in them, they just need to reinvent themselves 🙂. Pro evo is an utter joke of a game.

I can’t believe they keep making this tatt. They’ve tried to make it realistic and failed miserably (again). It has lost its appealling arcade feel, so it is now neither here nor there. You can take about 30 shots without scoring once and with which only 2 will be on target (I’m talking about from within the box). Do you have any control over the keeper or not?

Couldn’t work it out, neither could the game by the looks of it. The AI seems to be even more stupid than before and players with the ball can run faster than players without it.

Defenders are once again headless chickens, and a passing system which is still fundamentally broken. They have papered over the cracks of 2011. Its a horrible game to look at and my advice would be to keep all Japanese developers away from Football games as they clearly have no clue about the sport and how it looks in reality. As for FIFA 12, its on the whole a much better game, but haven’t played it enough to give it a fair opinion. I love football but unfortunately Pro Evo 11 & 12 has assured me I won’t be going near these games ever again. To be honest, i was a fifa fan for years. I played PES a lot on the ps2 because it was very realistic.

On the next-gen fifa have taken the crown of pes. However i must say they did a amazing job on PES 2012. I bought FIFA 12 first because i thought the game would rule. What i found out was that the game was almost similar to fifa 11.

The same frustrating errors in it like players falling over the ball, so other players can’t get the ball. I saw people rated pes as a game for kids. Well i must say fifa is more a game for kids these days. It’s so freaking easy to score a goal on it. Do you feel the self accomplishment when you score a goal on it?

On pes 2012 when i score a goal, i really celebrate. And for the people who say the game is boring because sometimes ou get matches where only 3 or 4 shots has been takin on target, well get over it, it’s called FOOTBALL. If you ever played football yourself you know this.

Als fifa has the same attacking setup every time. You play the ball to our striker, wait for the midfielder to overlap to give him a high through ball. Or you play the ball to your wingers, run down the line, give a good cross and it’s a goal. On pes 2012 you have so much variations on how to attack. It’s also very unpredictable as you never know what the ai is going to do next.

This is really the brilliance of pes 2012, the ai. As you look at fifa 12: ai controlled players walking the ball over the line.

Wingers dribbling to away from their defenders while they have to search for the 1 vs 1 situations. If your looking at the game modes, pes has so much to offer. Football life is really brilliant.

Especially the become a legend mode. It gives you the thrill when you make your first goal. It really makes you happy when you finally get the transfer to a big club after 3 seasons or more. While in fifa after 1 season you can already play for fc barcelona for example what really isn’t realistic.

I haven’t played the master league yet, but i guess it’s much the same as before. Also the including of the champions league is something special. I get the chills everytime the theme is playing and the players start walking on the pitch. However fifa isn’t really a bad game. The skills are simply amazing. Iso 2372 Vibration Standard Chart. The combinations you can make are very logic and they link up quite well. PES can take a big example on this.

Also the license of fifa is a big difference, however you can download them for pes. For the graphics i prefer pes. I like the faces better and the expressions. Another big led down on fifa is the collusion system. It s*cks big monkey balls. The saying fifa is more of a football game, i think is rubbish. On pes you can’t hold the run button cause you’ll get f*cked by the ai.

On top player and super star level for sure! I played a lot of friendly matches and the ai will pass the shit out of you. On fifa most of the passes doesn’t make sense while on pes, there is a real tactical idea behind it. Also the player runs off the ball and the ai offside trapping and other stuff works just like in real life on pes. On fifa there is always one stupid ai defender who mess it up. I have said enough.

Think what you like, but for me PES 2012 is the real football simulator. As for fifa 12?

It’s fun to play, but i have seen this for to long, i have grown up, became a man, and want to play a real football sim. Not some kind of fast arcade game. If you like fifa 12, than it’s up to you.

I have made my statement and that’s pes 2012 for me. From a football lover, who plays football on a high level cheers! Like every other article I’ve read on this site, it’s very biased toward what ‘The Gaffer’ thinks and that’s pretty much your lot. The articles don’t tend to be fair or balanced in any way, they’re just what he thinks but it’s delivered to you in a matter of fact way. Terrible writer in my opinion.

Anyway, in MY opinion the latest FIFA – I don’t really like is as much as last years one but I still prefer it over PES. The FIFA graphics are WAY better as well so don’t know why you try and argue otherwise Gaffer. Maybe you have poor eyes or your HDMI cable is broke!? Fifa is far better than pes coz its not only the detail which we play for.its also the real feeling which we gather during play and fifa has an upper hand in it.its been a while for pes in gaming world still we find the same name of clubs like london fc,north london etc.its getting boring now unless some real changes are gonna made.fofa on the other hand has variety.has a real play experience.goals will not come that easy.opponent also delivers goal and makes it much exciting.and in fifa 2012 the player expression has also improved.so hats off to the oldest fifa games production. PES is easier than any prostitute.

Fifa is like the premier league, colourful, exciting, intuitive, dynamic. PES is like the blue square premier league. Predictable, easy to score, commentators that are about as fun as ironing, sunderland are probably called wearside red and white, robotic movement. I just feel sorry for those who keep thinking Konami will ever be as good as FIFA if they keep repeating the same mistakes.

PES used to be classic on PS2. It used to sh*t all over FIFA. But one day FIFA grew a set of amicably sized bollocks, and started from scratch much to the relief of millions. A lot of people who slate FIFA havent even played it.

They are still stuck in their old stubborn ways from 2006 and refuse to try something different. Perhaps it is time you grew a pair of amicably sized balls and tried it for yourselves instead of leaving your tongues firmly up konami’s a**hole. All FIFA fans are delusional.

Try for once listen from neutrals who have literally tried and tested both games. I can guarantee you more than 80% of them will favour pes. Of course it’s not perfect but it’s better than FIFA by a million mile in terms of the whole gameplay.

Swallow your pride for once and open your eyes. One thing that fifa ticks me off is that the relatively unknown players all look the same! It turns me off. I couldnt recognize my players face.

Fifa made rooney look like a gorilla. They cant even make their ambasaddor look a like while all players in pes is almost grapichally perfect. PES 11 and 12 have just been horrible games. I’m not really a fan of fifa either, I love football but both of these games are pretty weak in representation of the actual thing. Typically PES has just carried on making the same mistakes with stupid AI, ridiculous goals i.e your keeper automatically passing straight to opposition strikers to prevent the ball going out for a goal kick. When the ball falls behind the defenders confusion sets in and you have to defend the goal whilst struggling against your defenders who seem far to willing to get the ball into their own net by any means necessary.

Still finding that it takes about 15-20 shots to get the ball into the net when it only ever takes the AI to score from 1 or 2 (commonly from AI defensive mistakes). There was a slight improvement in PES 12 where your players actually make attacking runs, unlike in 11. But the most amount of fun I had with this game was when we had 2 players vs the AI or vs 2 more people, because you can actually make runs and structure the game like it is supposed to be played. Other than that PES is just a game of glorified pinaball.

The ball bounces around with a some amount of control until it ends up in the goal. Overall its another pretty feeble effort from Konami, I would never pay a penny for this trash, I feel for those who did. In my personal opinion, Fifa 12 had done a great job with its graphics and player impact engine, BUT.I got bored of it within the first 2 weeks.

It’s quite repetitive and gets boring. I’m not an expert player but it doesn’t grow on you. While with Pes 2012. U can be u in the master league (as the coach and guiding your team to victory).

You can nature players from your youth team and it grows with u as u keep playing it. When i first bought PES 12. I was like WTFcos obviously the graphics was no where near Fifa12, But as I kept playing it, it got better and better everytime. I mean its so realistic that when u start off with a team in Master leagueyou start off from a lower division and u work your way up. This concept makes u eager to play it everytime.IMO Pes12 edges Fifa12. 9/10 for PES12 and 8.5 for FIFA12.

Firstly, it must be said that most people who take the mickey out of FIFA probably haven’t played a real competitive football match, or are in all likelihood casual gamers. I have played both games, and I must say, PES is too easy.

No way in heck a player runs faster with the ball than without it. No way will you ever see a pro in real life charging into a tackle and leaving his team without its shape or someone backing his position.

And you will definitely not see almost every single cross and almost every pass finding its intended recipient (in FIFA even back passes can go astray)oh and yes, I was playing on Superstar difficulty.but when you’ve played FIFA on Legendary for years, no difficulty level on PES is going to stop you from scoring 3 or 4 goals a game. It’s too easy. It’s not a real football simulator, it’s an arcade game made to please the masses who don’t have the nerve to lose over and over again until they can finally grind out a nail-biting win on FIFA.

That’s where the real magic lies. I will admit, back in 06 and 07, PES had the upper hand in terms of graphics and even today, PES has better lighting, but FIFA always has been, and always will be the better football simulator. Look at the Official Premier League site, they use FIFA 12 now to simulate matches before hand, and its correct 95% of the time, albeit the scorelines may be different, but that speaks for FIFA’s brilliant coding and authentic feel.

Konami have churned out pretty much what you would expect from people who are known for crazy gameshows and over the top anime. In short, if you want immediate gratification and you like seeing the net bulge, go for PES. If you have lots of time on your hands and are a keen football fan and maybe even a hardcore gamer, and you don’t mind investing a little sweat and tears into a truly liberating footballing experience, then play FIFA, but be warned, it is not for the faint-hearted.

I’ve not played PES for a few years, but my feeling is that both games lack the coherent and intuitive gameplay we really want. My best gaming experience with football simulators came on PS2 with PES AND FIFA.

Yes, FIFA 2007 was very good for total gameplay control and implementation of tactics and the best experience for a chellenge was to play a good club, like Liverpool, Milan, or Madrid in the final stages of a cup competition (FA or CL) on the highest level of diffculty. People might say that the game was easier back in 2007, but regardless of what you think, I believe most players who can COMPARE THE GAMEPLAY CONTROLS, TACTICS, AND TIMING OF A.I. RUNS can agree that the PS2 FIFA gameplay controls were superior to the PS3. I don’t believe the the addition of realism in player movement and the introduction of error should make any football simulator feel so awkward, sluggish, and unreliable when trying to build up an attack through possession.

The new generation of game has your teammates in the wrong place so often that it’s no surprise that so many idiots I see playing online spend more time dribbling than making nice, simple passes. Hello their,, you cant found all the people like the same thing or it will be this life really disgusting, even in your hand you cant found any finger look like the other in the same hand or there will be a problem! But for all my life i was love pes game until 2012, i didn’t found the pes 12 have things make you feel a life, but fifa 12 yes and this is what i feel, and about the reality, well this is video game and i hate the game when i feel it real, i need to feel its a game, i believe that they should make the video game is realistic and very good graphic to anime not to the reality, sorry for my bad English, and please accept my comment like a friend in this little big electronic city thanks. Fifa is dogsh*t compared to PES, i converted this year jus to give fifa a chance but the game frustrates me even wen im beat all these clowns that say its better!

The AI on fifa is the most mythical thing in the world, should be called ANI (artificial no intelligence), basically all fifa does is look good, disagree with any1 that says gameplay is better.like when the keeper deflects a ball and all 4 of your defenders run out the box to leave a lone striker a tap in, passing is DODGY and ther is no sense of urgency about the game, if you start losin, the team isnt interested anymore PES allday, F*ck fifa. PES 2012 graphics are far superior: Lie. FIFA’s graphics are 100x’s better than PES.

PES’s gameplay is better: Lie. FIFA blows it away. The level of detail in PES is incredible: Lie. I love PES 2012′s in-game communication: Who cares? As dumb as this blog is, who wants to talk to you in the first place? FIFA 12 is too much hype and marketing: That’s why FIFA has blown away PES in sales again you silly boob.

The only thing PES has in this game is that fact you can create your own stadiums which I find out outstanding. Other than that, quit trying to brainwashing people you idiot. PES has nothing on FIFA. Fifa 12 is garbage, i just threw it away, i was in division 1 online after the first week, it is difficult but i overcame that. What frustrated me was when my team just didn’t show up, they would pass outside or make stupid runs, shoot off target even from 2 feet away.

The defence would not cover properly or reactions were delayed ( and its not my internet connection i have very fast service). It was as if i wasn’t even controlling them, didn’t matter if it was on manual, semi or assisted control settings. Only after losing a lot of matches in a row (using different teams against different teams) and waiting a day would it go back to normal. I have played fifa games since world cup 98 or even before, cant remember too well. And never have i been more disappointed in ea and fifa. When fifa 12 worked it was great but when it did not, the game was simply unacceptable. Forgot too mention freezing when opponents would quit or even finishing an online match.

I am not a hie hard PES fan but I just loved the posession game in PES 2012. I am playing ML first season with FC BARCELONA in professional difficulty with players in the range of 45-73 points. Am able to keep amazing 90% posession.(Although opponent teams are also poor in terms of quality) This is something which was never required in FIFA or PES11 as you could dodge several defenders and go for glory with any player!!!

Ball control is amazing. Passes have pin point accuracy when used diligiently. Then all you need is to hold and keep pressing forward until u create an opening for a goal. Shot accuracy is hopeless though(expected from a below par striker with 55 odd points;)) AI is great every attack is new. And the tactics have to change every time. Communication is a feature I liked although it is irritating when one player rested for a match knocks at your doorstep demanding for an explanation 😀 The cut scenes during a new player joining and before every match bring a spice to the game. In all a good game.

I have played the latest editions of both FIFA and PES. I do love the presentation of FIFA but I find myself scoring same or thereabout goals every time. I find PES gameplay to be more realistic and satisfying. It really is like playing a real football match in terms of football strategy.

While FIFA triumphs easily in the graphics department (mainly due to the outstanding but sometimes hilarious “Impact Engine” technology), PES really outshone its competitor in terms of gameplay. So ultimately no game is “THE BEST FOOTBALL GAME EVERRRR!!!”, it all depends on what kinda player u are.

If u like nice graphics and is more of a casual gamer who loves to pick up a controller and have a game or 2 every now and then, then FIFA is for you. But if u live, breathe, sleep, dream of football and have recently been diagnosed with football fever, then PES is your choice.for sure. All this bickering bout which game is better doesn’t makes sense.I was a die hard pes fan, I loved it until pes 11, pes 11 was a total disaster, it deviated from what i always loved in pes, the A.I was just messed up, passing was different and u could just run through players or defenders so easily, it took a while to get used to it buh i couldn’t accept it, it was just weird, maybe due to personal opinion but pes had lost its pizzazz. Then i tried out Fifa 11, at first it was really difficult but becoz i understood the game i invested time in it and it became very interesting and fun, buh now fifa12, i wont lie the improvements are small buh it increases the overall experience. Personally i think it comes down to preference and the time your willing to invest learning or improving urself on which ever football game u go for. But i think both games could do better, fifa on the game modes it offers, more depth and pes on the licences problems also A.I buh this is just my opinion ur free to hate or like it.

Final Verdict Fifa 12 is slightly better. PES is tonnes better. FIFA has the worst servers. Everytime I enter an online match, about halfway through the match, it disconnects with me being logged out of the Playstation Network. At least PES has stability and you know you wont disconnect. FIFA is really unrealistic.

All to do to score a goal is to hold Finesse shot into the corner. But PES, there is a variety, and the keepers arent that retarded to not save slow shots. AI is tonnes better in PES, FIFA stands no chance here. Face details are tonnes better in PES.

I mean, lower league players in FIFa looks like trolls. Player impact in FIFA has made the game worse. Referees give penalties for fair tackles, and you can trip over a striker when youre a defender. PES, the defenders actually tackle, and its decent.

But PES is not perfect either, 3 things, Licensing, Commentary and the animations. I mean, how retarded are the running animations, and the commentary is really annoying, and i like Alan Smith and Martin Tyler.

And lastly the leagues, there is so little. English, Spanish, Dutch and Italian Leagues are only there. There is that new Copa Libertadores, so thats unique, but this can be easily fixed by downloading patches. Overall, FIFA is no simulation, if you want to be frustrated by Server disconnections, shocking referring, and a physics engine that makes attackers look like their freaking godzilla, than be my guest. I know PES has stability and tactics actually have a part of how you play.

PES needs a few tweaks, but its a great soccer game that can be enjoyed by a family and not a bunch of hardcore gamers. Me and my brother we’re playing PES for a very long time and few months back we were challenged by some fifa fans who i quote ‘ have +90% wins on multiplayer games with ease’, to play FIFA 11 over multiplayer with them. And guess what happened We beat each and everyone of them with ease and realized that FIFA, while having nice graphics and stuff, is as arcadish as ever. Many similar situations over the match, scoring from similar positions with same shots, not to mention goals from over 40 meters with a volley Attacker gets past your defender with ease in PES?

You are holding the defense buttons too much I have a friend who i introduced PES and this year he chose fifa 2012. He is just a casual gamer, he played a match on PES11 and a match on FIFA12 and likes FIFA better fine so be it but, if you ask me, that only shows FIFA is easier to play then some people here say.

So in short all i would say is FIFA (hard to start playing, easy to master) PES (easy to play, very hard to master ). This is the most pathetic reasons I have ever heard in my entire life. Come on man, I know that he is still biased towards PES from the inside and it is very clear from this line “As a perfect example, my wife walked in to our living room the other day and didn’t notice I had a controller in my hands.

She looked at the TV screen and thought I was watching a real match. I was playing PES 2012.” Come on FIFA looks more realistic if you suddenly enter in a room and same thing happens. Then he says that the players ‘Look’ and ‘Feel’ more real? C’mon in FIFA there are signature passing styles and dribbling styles, unlike in PES which still offers the same 4 dribbling types from PES 5:@ I used to be a PES fanatic, but FIFA is better overall and I still play both games, but day in day out FIFA proves that it’s gameplay is close to reality and I can do almost the same moves as I watch on TV If anyone thinks that in graphics PES is better? I’m a Barca fan and I hate Xavi, Keita, Abidal, Messi, Iniesta and Sanchez’s faces in PES. Xavi looks like an alcoholic, Keita looks someone who doesn’t give a damn about his face, Iniesta looks like an Alien with near-white skin but that’s my view What I am trying to tell is that FIFA is better overall all prestigious gaming websites admit it, and no way I’m telling that PES is bad, it’s also good, but FIFA is best nowadays PES 12: 8/10 FIFA 12: 9/10.

Fifa 12 is so much better. My friend has Pes and I played it a few times. The graphics are horrible, the people look really fat, and the variety of words in the commentating is somewhere between paper thin and non existent. Cmon guys, Fifa offers a much better gameplay and AI. Oh, and it’s SO easy in Pes to get past defenders. You just hold the run button and you basically just run. In Fifa you actually have to pass for you to keep possession.

Player’s faces in Fifa are far more realistic than Pes. Despite its superiority over Pes, Fifa has some problems that need to be addressed.

One of them is the crowd in the stands. They look like two dimensional cardboard figures. Also, it gets really annoying in Fifa when your team mates run into you when you’re dribbling or accidentally block your shot. There is also a persisting bug that forces me to quit the game after about an hour of gameplay. We bought FIFA 12 and it just doesn’t make sense to me the passing speed and the players-moving-speed it’s just ridiculous I try to make a pass well placed and stong enough, and it goes sloooooowly but when receiving a ball the player just accelerates incredibly hey EA SPORTS INERTIA! I agreed with you that pes may have more detail than fifa in terms of graphics. I personally find the models in pes look more realistic in the idea of 3d volumetic, where as in fifa sometimes things look a bit less 3d volumetric, especially the background/stadium looks abit 2d-ish.

But lighting wise, i prefer fifa since it’s brighter and more natural than pes. However in terms of gameplay, i find fifa plays out more fluently and more challenging than pes, still it’s quite controversial when come down to personal opintion. Lastly it would be better if you correct the term fifa looks like a computer game, because this really confuses me. As high end computers are superior to consoles in terms of performance, resolution and graphics quality. I owned both games on my pc and my ps3, they all look the same except the pc version allows better anti aliasing quality.

All I have to say to all you FIFA fans is that you are delusional. I have never played PES but I am about to become a new fan. If you have tried to get past, oh, I don’t know, say 2-3 seasons in career mode your game will start freezing up on you and your career is trashed. Yes, that exciting feature they brought back in youth squad and all the work you’ve been doing scouting is kerrrmuthapluckinplunked. And I’m so pissed off. EA sports has the worst customer service and do not care about their purchasing customers whatsoever.

They have ignored everyone, and trust me, everyone is having this problem, google it. I only bought the game for career mode.

I always only buy the game for CM. But, FIFA 10, 11, 12 have now all taken 65$ from me in the exact same way and bent me over. Love the game, but the only reason I buy it is ********* and they do nothing about it, and will continue to do nothing about it and keep their monopoly going. All I can say is ***** EA Sports with a capital F. I am not a fan boy, I used to like fifa better until about PES 4/5 then I liked PES until fifa got on the right track, with baby steps in 2009 and an overall good improvement (on consoles) in 2010. In 2011 there was no doubt Fifa was better. Even the pc Fifa 2011 version which was in fact a ported version of the 2010 console version was better then PES 2011.

2012 gap keep increasing. 1 ->My mother had the same reaction 8 years ago while I was playing Fifa 2004 so that doesn’t really say much.

2 ->That’s your subjective opinion and if you’re going to make a point about the gameplay you should point out what is wrong with the players movements, positioning or how is the ball trajectory and things like that. 3 ->I agree, Konami puts more effort into rendering the players faces then EA and fifa has a lot of generic faces but the final result of Konami effort is questionable. 4 ->Irrelevant. I want to play the game not socialize, I have friends and social networks for that.

5 ->Again irrelevant. I honestly prefer pes cuz on fifa the only way u can be ur man is buy doing to crazy skills which is totally unrealistic because real players dont go around doing roulettes and rainbow flick to every single players however even thought pes start doing skills u can still use the simple moves that help u beat ur defender on a one on one instead of big skill and in pes u can get players to do runners unlike fifa, and btw to hater passing is important and i can honstly tell you th passing on pes feels more realistic. I just have to say that PES 2010 and above has become slow and gamepads feel like they need half a second before the button starts working but that is because you have VERTICAL SYNC on in the game. Remove that and the game become twice as better and do PES 2012 trainings PES 2012 with good (non-delay) video settings, the game is rich in defense as in offense Trainings teach you how to defend and attack. They show you what is possible and how you can block attacks and stuff And the corners on multiplayer are unbelievably hard and fun and exhausting (in a good way) for both the defense and offense. PES 2012 has done much in terms of your teammates AI. You just have to try the game.

Didn’t play FIFA, but i’ve seen the graphic, players physic looks all same and cartoony i think, on youtube the gameplay is joke, juggling when middle of the game n almost all player can do tricks perfectly >are this even near football game, not at all. Sorry for all FIFA fan even though i’d never play FIFA >but here i will give my opinion for PES 12 lackness: 1.

The players awareness/concentration are too high for 90minutes 2. Goalkeepers are simply worst GK PES series ever i think + ( cannot catch the ball ) 3.

Some player are too good to be true for example robinho more often do drib all of my players than c.ronaldo but still i love PES gameplay. Sorry bad english, my english suck. One reason FIFA will always fall short of PES is realism. I know FIFA LOOKS visually (animations, scoreboards, cameras etc) and MOVES realistically but it will NEVER play realistically. Emphasis on the casual crowd, rubbish emphasis on tricks, boring same old goals scored and frankly doesn’t have the soul of pro evo. It’s popular because it looks good and the media hypes it to hell and back. Plus kids love it so they bash on pes without even playing it.

HOOO LOOK AT ME I CAN DO SKILLZ. PES has been absolutely terrible in visuals and animations. Licenses can be downloaded so no worries. But game play is still for me, better than FIFA. Because it plays like a real football game.

No doubt it’s still FAR from being good. Animations, visuals, SHITTY mechanics need to go but the soul and core is there. I think it is only a matter of opinions. Personally i prefer pes bt doesn’t mean everybody should.

For those who say it’s harder to score on fifa, i guess you don’t know what finesse shot is all about. For the super messi/ronaldo etc thing, anyone ever thought of disabling the speed merchant skill card for all players? One thing on pes though that i don’t see complains about is the direction deflected shots which tend to spin into the net. Another thing is the issue of being realistic which despite being part of the appeal is not the main reason why most ppl play games, it is for the fun(being realistic adds to fun though)everyone has a right to their opinion so just enjoy the game u love. PES more like an arcade where FIFA is like a simulation with worse graphics. For me, both have same difficulty, PES’s top player level is as easy as FIFA’s world class level and PES’s superstar level is as unrealistic&frustrating as FIFA’s legendary level (seriously,at some point I think the computer’s AI may have been cheated on my,*&$%$) for the online feature both also have some good and bad points.

FIFA’s online mode is better BUT u still have to buy an additional online pass for that. And PES’s online feature is good (but not better than FIFA),but there are still problems with pairing in an online match. For me PES 2012 = FIFA 12,but for now i prefer PES coz i have it patched & i havent buy the online pass for FIFA,haha. Still makes me laugh when people say FIFA is a simulation, have you watched the defensive AI at all?

There’s a reason why 90% of the golas scored are considerd cheap.FIFA is so AI heavy that more or less everybody moans about the cheap goals, I.E. Assisted 1-2’s, assited lobbed thru balls, assited crossing, assisted finesse shots, assited heading, pass backs.

1 scenario on both games played out very differently. Playing against the comp i’m wininng 1 – 0, There’s 20 mins left. FIFA, Take off a striker bring on a striker and change nothing. PES, Take off a defender bring on a striker change formation and change to all out attack. FIFA arcade dressed as simulation. PES Simulation dressed as arcade.

LOL There’s only one reason to prefer PES over FIFA: you just like PES more. Because the battle between PEs and FIFA got to a point where the decision is not subjective anymore.

FIFA is just better in any aspect you can think of aside from the edit mode, and if you think otherwise you just don’t know anything about football. It might sound agressive, but FIFa is so flat-out better and it gets so much better reviews from football fans and game critics alike that there’s no real doubt between FIFA and PES, like there was some years ago. Graphics are more natural, gameplay is FAAAAAAR superior, authenticity is is another level, AI is FAAAAr better i could go on and on. Some of the points referred here are actually the ones that make FIFA better.

How is the FIFA AI better?????? The FIFA AI is abysma, Defenders never join attack, midfielders never join attack unless you are controling one of them. The defensive AI is shocking, they mark spaces and not players, they will stand by and watch as a striker runs through them to get on the end of a pass back. And as for critics liking it, Do you really need somebody else to tell you what to like? And do you never find it funny that there are forums upon forums of peope complaining about the FIFA AI, Ping-Passing, Handicapping, Scripting and the dull off line yet not a single “critic” ever mentions these things. A geniune magazine review gave FIFA 9/10 And said “FIFA is a fun game that boils down to who has the faster team, And it gave PES 8/10 and said “PES is a game that takes a geniune football know how and tactical understanding to master” So to say FIFA is a genuine football master piece is a lie that your “critics” are happy to go along with. In my experiences everything you have just said is a lie, the defence joins my attack and so does my midfield, they even tackle, chase players down, and mark players. HAVE YOU EVEN PLAYED FIFA?!

Even though on PES a game i respect alot, players just stand there and you can walk past them and they just wave and that on the easiest difficulty and the hardest one is the most un realistic thing ever the players do the impossible, as on FIFA players actually tackle and everything and the differecnces on the difficulties are basically the intensity and pressure the players put on you. Seriously why is everyone calling each other idiots because of their opinions? Everyone has their own, for example some say Barcelona are better tyhan Madrid, bu some say Madrid are better than Barcelona or Messi is better than Ronaldo or Ronaldo is better than Messi!

These are all opinions not facts! I’ve been playing pro for years. FIFA was one of them games that the people who didn’t know about games had FIFA98 lol and all the rest up to 09/10.Theres no doubt It has got better over the years (2010/11/12) because EA have more money because it’s called ‘Fifa’ its a brand that fools buy into. But I’m sorry for me it just isn’t smooth enuff it hasn’t got the silky gameplay that Pro has its stiff, slow and boring. The graphics are horrid and on the PS3 it’s even worse. It’s none responsive I have played it for hours and tryed to see what hype is about but it’s just hype & banter.

It sounds and Looks good(game layout not graphics) but it plays poorly then tryes to dress its poor gameplay with advanced tactics and 1st person bullshit before kickoff. It’s just got Licences, good game design and some good online modes. The programers @ EA have took 15 years (prob the age of some of you on here) to make it half decent. But it can’t even come close to Konomi in terms of game quality!!!! I can’t belive some of these comments it’s ridiculous! In all fairness Fifas ok for 10yr/12yr olds it’s a good present for your nephew, Lil bro etc. Pro is strait to the point no nonsense great Football game.

Pro could do with the licences after giving us a top football game year after for over a decade and should touch up there Look but that’s really it. Pro been good for ages.

These kids would rather play a game with poor gameplay and graphics trade it in for licences, better commentary, and the brand ‘Fifa’ Very Sad. Get PES12 and a X-BOX and a mate an play properly for a few hours learn the controls you will never go back to CheaFa again. I never played PES before because i’ve always been a FIFA player, however, this year I did buy fifa 12 and PES 2012, and I really could not score with PES, it kept flying over the goal when I didn’t even hold the shoot button in, what the hell is with that!? Aswell as playing as “North London” instead of Arsenal, if you can’t use the real names then no point making a footie game, it sucks. Safe to say, the only good thing is that they have the licensing for EUFA Champions League. Safe to say i’ll stick to fifa.

Please tell me that this is a troll article? Or are you actually being serious? If you are, i have no idea how you came to that awful conclusion. Lets run through your 5 reasons 1.

This is purely opinion based, no facts used here just a subjective point. “My wife came in and thought it was a real game” is one of the worst arguments i have ever heard for one game being superior to another.

Again subjective without any facts used to back up your points. FIFA in fact does have far superior gameplay, proof being the layers upon layers of gameplay improvements that they pile on every year, 360 dribbling, precision dribbling, precision passing, tactical defending the list goes on. There is no debating this, see all game reviews for FIFA, all these gaming experts back up my point. You said you prefer PES because it is less of a challenge, this just shows you are a casual gamer who doesn’t like to be challenged, again just because PES is easier doesn’t make it a better game. I would just like to add, this point contradicts your first, because if you like your games to look/be realistic, PES is not that.

It is far from easy to dribble past players as PES would lead you to believe, it lacks realism, FIFA requires skill and realistic build up play and passing, triangle passes to maneuver the defence, create a gap and exploit that gap. Again another opinion, you are talking about realism of the players reactions, which is not even remotely linked to gameplay.

I have already explained the superior gameplay aspects of FIFA, as have the countless professional game reviewers. On FIFA 12 he lacks pace, like he does in real life, he is a good finisher, always has been, but he has never been lighting fast and is only getting slower as he ages, i really don’t understand your point here.

Xbox LIVE in game voice chat. Far more effective than generic phrases activated by a simple button press You could even go on FIFA and use the Mic, but only speak the phrases in PES if that really floats your boat. Now you are saying PES is better because Konami always fail to market their games as well as EA? That is a ridiculous point but i shall discuss this nevertheless.

It is far from just media hype, as the game has been dubbed as possibly the best sporting game of all time, don’t take my word for it, google it, you will find countless articles sharing this view, from professionals A little advice for future reference, if you again decide to post such a controversial article, use facts to back up your points, otherwise your argument carries zero weight and frankly looks like a bit of a joke. All of your points are opinion, and without fact behind it you might as well be telling me a fictional story. Next you tell us all that Titus Bramble is a better defender than Nemanja Vidic. P.S Man Blue v Merseyside Blue.

I end my comment on that bombshell. Man PES is hell a lot more fun to play than fifa. Fifa isn’t that fun. Fifa has really frustrating defenders yet really terrible goalkeepers. Example: I am attacking with striker, defender comes out of no where ad sprint towards me. I try to move away from the defender but the defender isn’t realistic and tackles the ball away from me and runs to my goal and scores!!! Another example: I am attacking with my striker and there is one defender and one goalkeeper.

I shoot very far away from the goal and I actually score! I was playing world class dificulty! Fifa has repetive A.I on defenders and the goalkeepers are terrible at blocking in the game. This review is spot on, I’ve been off work and have spent a month analysing both, and PES 12 comes on top by a fair margin. Fifa 12 is good, but PES has that fluid organic feel, and the gameplay is so much smoother.

I was always a FIFA player, but this year PES wins. There are reviews that will put FIFA ahead, but that will be based on the completeness of Fifa with the licences, and to a certain aspect the marketing advantage by EA. PES 12 gameplay is the most enjoyable I have ever experienced for years. By the way PES 2011 was the most irritating football game for me ever, I think that was work in progress, but now its complete in PES 12. In the end, it will always come down to personal tastes on how a football sim should be and how you want to play. I’ve bought every FIFA game since 2003 whereas I’ve been off and on with PES.

I do enjoy FIFA, and this years version is a huge step forward. PES 2012 meanwhile, has some minor adjustments which in the end, meant the series took one step forward yet two steps back: FIFA 12 Positives: – New ‘Impact Engine’ is realistic and effective, works very well. – The IE blends well with the new defending, and there’s a great cohesion and balance in the way FIFA is played now. – I still find the graphics to be superior to PES, and the on-screen graphics are much more TV-like and presentable. – The Career Mode is a lot better compared to 11, the new Deadline Day feature is an excellent addition and it’s more enjoyable in general.

– Commentary is again, streets ahead of PES’s continually dire commentary from Jon Champion and Jim Beglin. Alan Smith fits in seamlessly with Martin Tyler, and there’s even the option of the second commentary team, which is great. FIFA 12 Negatives: – Every match feels largely the same, whether it’s a cup final or a derby, there’s no difference. FIFA always feels the same when you play. – A major problem with FIFA still is the fact that all the fancy Sky Sports-esque graphics are there, it feels as though it’s largely unnecessary in a way. The Career Mode still lacks a certain depth and ‘Be A Pro’ is still horrendous compared to Become A Legend on PES.

– While online play is integrated well by EA, it hasn’t been well devised, as the servers are really quite poor. But the huge online features on offer, slightly overpower the negatives. PES 2012 Positives: – Minor improvements to general gameplay offers more enjoyability to the game. Passing is more slick and scoring is now more difficult. – ‘Football Life’, the blend of Master League, Become A Legend and the new, Club Boss modes is a great addition and allows you to really immerse yourself in the world of football from all sides, as a manager, player or chairman.

– While the graphics and realism are slightly more disappointing than FIFA, the UEFA Champions League licences are again improved on and it really is terrific to watch. – One thing PES always beats FIFA on is the ability to edit almost anything. The Edit Mode is better this year and allows you to create a new team, stadium or player with ease. – There’s tiny little things like cameramen moving around the pitch during matches that really add to the realism. I know it’s very minor, but those kind of things please me. PES 2012 Negatives: – While general gameplay is better, there’s some real issues in there.

It’s now miles easier to dribble through an entire defence with the minimal push of your analog stick, which is disappointing. There also doesn’t appear to be any stamina limit, players just run forever. – Master League STILL doesn’t allow you to change clubs, which is really quite ridiculous. Whilst it’s more in-depth than the FIFA Career Mode, the ability to change your club should have been implemented years ago. – The new Club Boss mode, whilst an interesting addition, is unfortunately, as dull as dishwater. No enjoyment whatsoever. – When not playing a match in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League or Super Cup, the presentation is very boring.

– I don’t normally mind the lack of licences in the Premier League, but there really should be more than two each year. As you can probably tell, I find there to be more gripes with PES 2012 than FIFA 12.

EA’s latest football sim appears to be more well-rounded than it’s rival. Konami still hasn’t really perfected a game in the current generation of consoles, and there’s always very basic problems, every year. Since getting the UEFA licence, Konami have strayed away from the traditional arcade style of PES in favour of realism, which I think is the wrong move, as FIFA wins every year. PES is by no means a bad game, but FIFA is again my preferred choice.

But still, that’s just me. I don’t know why people argue over which is better, each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Some will prefer PES, others FIFA, it all comes down to personal taste. But this year, once again, my personal taste leans me towards FIFA 12. Its a cheap revamp of PES 2009 (which was so far ahead of FIFA 2009) the AI hasn’t changed, graphics, sounds and 3D assets are all the same, the game play is still repetitive, the off the ball system is glitchy, I played online for 3 hours and only ever scored or conceded a ball chipped over my back 4 or passed through or where the AI went rogue and put it on a plate, fair enough the graphics do look more realistic but I think its a style decision EA made to reduce the level of detail, the smaller textures no doubt allow for more sophisticated AI. I waited to buy it as I didn’t think I needed both it turns out PES is too far behind FIFA and I wasted $49.99. Why FIFA 12 is better than PES 2012: 1.

EA is far more established than Konami 2. EA has atleast purchased license and rights over logos and leagues whereas Konami sucks and has’nt even done that.Teams have been given stupid names such as Man RedMan Blue etc 3. FIFA 12 is more detailed in passes and gameplay and one can even switch to tactical defence which is based on real defence of the clubs or teams. Online play is far better than PES 2012 with virtual pro mathes and custom games and much more like head to head sesons. Thus one should buy FIFA 12 and not PES 2012 because it sucks!!!!!! I play PES and wanted to tell you that the passes are easy when you play against weak opponents but if you play against me neither Messi nor Ronaldo will do you any good cause I have the best defense and offense. And in PES you can put your player in the way of your opponents passes and if you’re smart and use your own tactics which you should build from the way your opponent plays then your opponent will run home crying like a baby and he’ll never try to challenge you again. So please don’t comment if you don’t know anything about PES.

I have been a PES fanboy since Winning Eleven 1 on PS2. Unfortunately they have not been able to get the gameplay right now for the past 4 or 5 versions. I have both games, and as much as I hate to say it.

Fifa 2012 is far superior if you want a REALISTIC experience. PES 2012 although much improved still plays badly. The computer opponents in Master League don’t beat you with their skills but rather with their speed of movement. Yes everyone seem to be able to pull Lionel Messi moves at incredible velocities. It’s a total Joke. I do prefer some aspects of BE A LEGEND Mode to that of FIFA PRO, but overall the game is just way to unrealistic, computer cheats to win. In Fifa the computer beats you with skill.

Don’t even want to talk about the goalkeeping, which is dreadful. Only wish I could have a master league in FIFA. Oh wait I can, going to make my own. Get ready for Fifa 2012 here comes Ordaz. Final verdict.

PES use to Rock. But now Fifa RULEZ. Pes is far better than fifa. Fifa isnt very realistic and copies somethings from the pes from the year before like the360 degree passing which is pretty poor in fifa. Aswell with fifa if you have a fast striker you can get past just about any defender. Also the player impact engine is the most ridiculous thing ever put into a football game.

Players that run into each other and do backflips is very realistic. Also the tatical defending is terrible. Also on the uk versions the commentry is so crap and boring those prats off sky sports. Also wayne rooney is on the cover of the game. It makes the game look more like a shrek movie or something.

I feel its mostly the english fans that like this game because of the licenses but come on, most of those english teams are over rated in that game. Teams all mostly 4 stars and above. Well what about those in the spanish, italian and german leagues there not. My opinion they are stronger and more exciting leagues. But because the english league has the most it has to be the best. Also some players for example john terry have the complete defender speciality and milan defender thiago silva dosent.

Im not saying terry is rubbish but my opinion is that silva should have it aswell. Same with midfielders sneijder has the midfielder one. Both xavi and iniesta dont have the complete midfielder but in real life xavi and iniesta are probaly the best and the most complete midfielders in the world. Xavi can pass, score and rarely gives away any possesion and pretty much the same from iniesta but a bit more in some area like playing out wide. Where as sneijder has been rubbish this season with inter milan and is no where near as good as xavi or iniesta yet he has this. They dont pay any attention to player likeness. Also pes graphics are much better.

More players look like what they do in real life. Even players of smaller teams look like their real life counterparts. Also pes has the official license for the uefa champions league and the europa league and the south american equivalent of the champions league copa libertadores. Player control is far better in pes. For example a when you have the possession of the ball your can control a player off the ball meaning that your are in control and i feel more likely to score or create a goal. This is also in includes for set pieces where you can drag defenders out of position with your player and put the ball into that area and get someone on the end of it to score.

In fifa its a 50/50 chances a player will make that incisive run to score or create that goal. >>Oh i almost forgot that the english striker emile heskey can score in fifa. So i downloaded demo of PES 12, just to compare the gameplay, ok its better than it was before, but still can’t beat FIFA’s gameplay for sure! So i delete it, cuz after FIFA, PES felt really boring, i can play FIFA 12 for hours! And never get bored, cuz it feels like every game is different, i was the biggest Pro Evo Soccer fan, and i always hated FIFA, but now im sorry guys, only respect no disrespect, for me FIFA 12 is waaaay more realistic than PES 12, in my opinion, guy who made this review is totally wrong, but at the same time im happy for him and other people who likes PES, cuz i had the craziest fights with my friends caused by PES, and i hope KONAMI will continue making this game and improve its quality and gameplay, but for now im with FIFA 12, the best soccer simulator to date! I cant belive i would ever defend FIFA, cuz i always been the bigiest fan of PES since 1998! Until 2009 i always was saying: if you want the best and realistic soccer simulator, you should go with PES, if want licensed teams but shitty gameplay and graphics, go for FIFA, Unfortunately after 2009, PES didn’t improve their gameplay, only graphics, But when i bought FIFA 09 for xbox360, thats it!

I was amazed by the gameplay, it was far better than PES 09, (still graphics was better in PES) and since than every year FIFA was getting better and better, PES unfortunately basically stayed the same. Now we have year 2012, and again unfortunately the gameplay in PES basically stayed the same, unrealistic, the only thing i like better than FIFA 12 is replays, thats it! FIFA 12 has the most realistic gameplay ever! The new defending system is amazing and very realistic! PES don’t have that, the moves is far better in FIFA 12, graphics basically the same for both games, PES is little bit better. I agree that the graphics are a bit better in PES 2012 than Fifa 2012 and that BE A LEGEND is much better.

Having the Champs League is also Fantastic. But I’m not talking about the bells and whistles the games offer, but just realistic football. Now if you believe football should be played at the same speed as Ice Hockey then you will definitely love PES, especially once you make it the the Premier Division of your league in Master League. That is when the game begins to get ridiculous.

I mean I have 3 defenders on 1 and somehow the attacking player always sneaks. Also the computer takes 5-6 passes to get down the field. Now sure, you can lower the game speed setting, but then I find the animation of the players isn’t accurate at all, so in the end that doesn’t quite work either. As for the fluidity, Fifa is much more realistic. It plays at the right pace. Also, getting by defences is not as easy as people are saying. Sit down play the game for a few weeks and I bet you will start saying Fifa is better.

To me I don’t really care much because I have both, but I find Fifa fun to play while PES totally frustrating with bad calls, bad goaltending, unrealistic game speeds and way to easy to score both for you and the computer opponent. Like a said, I’m now going to experiment a bit and see if I can create my own master league team in FIFA 2012 and see how it works out. Of course like every game comparison, there will be some good and some bad for both, but for myself the most important is true football and I find Fifa 2012 to be the better of the two in that regard. Hopefully Konami can repair the problems with the next version.

So I copied the Master League Default team as best as possible over to Fifa, and although the overall rankings are not the same, the skills of the players are pretty accurate. Now to set it up like PES, you have to pick your team in Player/Manger role and then swap to the lower division. But more importantly before you do anything including selecting the type of game you want to play, you have to make sure that the team you are looking to play has no real players, i.e you have to edit that team and release your real players and place them as Free Agents and then add the Master league Default players. You have to do this at the beginning before you select your mode of play, as once your in Career mode you can’t do it because, you can only release 4 or 5 players max. It’s a bit of a tedious task but it’s well worth it in the end. Can’t wait to get started this weekend 😀. Fantastic arguement stylz!!!

Why is PES2012 the real deal? Why does Fifa 2012 suck? Explain yourself, at least let the people on the forum no specifically why. Listen nobody loves the Master league concept more than I do, and even though I have tried to create my own in Fifa, it’s not the same, players are acquired with ease, you start off with the clubs real money etc. So all that is definitely better on PES, my problem with it though is the actual gameplay, PES 2012 doesn’t play as well as FIFA 2012, there is no doubt about it. I know because I have both games and I have played them both enough to see the difference.

Concepts are better in PES 2012 but the gameplay realism is much better in Fifa 2012 and unfortunately in the end that is all that counts. When I play a footy game I expect to play football not pinball, PES 2012 is just too damn fast and the player movements of the computer AI is lightening quick( only a few handfull of players should be able to do that, but unfortunately even computer players with 70 ratings overall can do them, how realistic is that? Goaltending is terrible too!!! Same with the officiating and commentary’s who continue to use the same old lines that I have heard since PES 2009. Sorry for all the PES fans, but we have to be open minded, and FIFA 2012 unfortunately is the better game overall. Hopefully Konami will play Fifa 2012 and start to impliment their gameplay for PES 2013. Been laying both fifa and pes(winnig eleven) since teh early 90s, i remember the megadrive version of fifa 94 which seemed great back then.

Be to be hoinest pes is much better then fifa just like the commenter sad. Ive been playing both fifa and pes(winnig eleven) since teh early 90s, i remember the megadrive version of fifa 94 which seemed great back then. Be to be hoinest pes is much better then fifa just like the commenter sad. I am a Fifa fan since 1998 and was introduced to PES series with PES2010.

I will be honest(i swear). Fifa was okay but Pes10 felt better than Fifa10. Then Fifa11 better than Pes11 And about the new ones Fifa12 beats Pes12 at gameplay with impact engine(better physics), tactical defending(more reality while defending), precission dribbling(better ball control). Pes12 has better graphics, More Realistic Player face(players act better like real life in Fifa12), Off the ball control(tactical attacking?) Better ball reaction: Fifa12>Pes12 Player movement: Fifa12>Pes12 In game tutorials: Pes12>Fifa12 Career modes: Pes12>Fifa12 Player Stats: Fifa12>Pes12 Multiplayer: Fifa12=Pes12 Presentation: Pes12Pes12 Realistic skill moves: Fifa12>Pes12 Goal Celebrations: Fifa12>Pes12 Facial expressions: Pes12>Fifa12.

Conclusion: To me Fifa12 beats Pes12 by that much There are very few things to dislike about Fifa12 and many things to like about Pes12 It was a hard choice! I may have jumped the gun lads, when I said FIFA 2012 plays way better. Like I said I set up my own Master league and to tell you the truth it just hasn’t worked out at all. At first it seemed as if FIFA 2012 played more realistic.at first. Then I have tried to play a Tournamentand my god. The defending as a whole is just as bad as PES actually even worse.

Like someone said earlier, the one to one defending is better but as a whole, the defending is terrible, Breakaways all the time, just like PES master league. So I have changed my decision, Fifa’s Engine may be slightly better but in the end. And it definitely has better goaltendting but it’s just as frustrating as PES 2012; PES as long as you take the speed down in the Premier leagues plays just as well, plus BE A LEGEND and MASTER LEAGUE make it much better overall. FINAL VERDICT PES 2012 is overall the better game. But sadly I find both games still lacking in realism.

I played PES 2012 and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! When Pes 2012 was updated to v 1.06, Konami had switched a lot of the A.I. I was playing F.C Barcelona vs. A really bad team but when I was sprinting with the ball, the other team’s player kept catching up to me! When the other team’s player came close, he pushed my player to the ground and stole the ball.

It wasn’t even a foul!!! This same thing kept going on over and over again. This mad pes 2012 unplayable and really boring. I love PES 2012 and its features a lot more than FIFA but this cheating A.I gives me no choice but to switch! I HATE FIFA!!! BUT the cheating A.I in PES 2012 GIVES ME NO CHOICE BUT TO SWITCH! OH KONAMI WHY DID YOU MAKE THE A.I SO TERRIBLE AND CHEATERS???!!

I LOVED PES BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO GET FIFA!!!!! In become a legend the ai hardly ever passes it to you and calling for the ball is even worse.i cant ask for a through ball because they dont even pass it to u. Also i have to note that the goalkeepers in pes suck. I scored a free kick from 50 yards away and the goalkeeper jumped the wrong side. In fifa 12 become a pro mode is better. Calling for the ball is easier and all u have to do for calling the ball is just pressing the button which corresponds to the passing when u have the ball. Goalkeepers in fifa 12 react a little too l8 and sometimes are too dumb.

Go play pes.u like fifa? Go play fifa. I used to love PES on PS2 but even i’ll admot fifa 12 is miles better, I’ll show ths by using your own points. Point 1, graphics. PS3 has better graphics than a xbox but everyone should agree XBOX has better online play and overall better gameplay and its not like FIFA has bad graphics they are still awesome and its gameplay is better Point 2, gameplay.

You say its better because its easier to get past defenders, I personally find poor defending irratating as its not easy to do in real life and also makes it more competitve and less boring thus better. Point 3 detail. Because the faces look the same?

Therefore graphics therefore point 1? FIFA has more players leagues teams staff everything therefore more detailed, th impact system is also great and looks much more realistic, this was a new system that will only get better Point 4 In game talk. I laughed when I saw this, if you want to tell someone “nice goal” just switch on your mic and tell them? And if you dont own a mic get ne for £9.99 if you really want to communicate online which you clearly seem to want to. Point 5 hype?

How you can dislike something because of hype is nuts and honestly ignorant tbh. You do realise PES is way better than FIFA? Why is this even being debated? PES is so realistic it’s unreal, FIFA is good too don’t get me wrong but ultimately the problem is its more of a friends v friends game, it’s not good for career mode/season mode, PES did decline after PES 2004 but the game engine and the player Ai is surreal way better than FIFA, and for the comment I’m still unbeaten online and in career mode on FIFA it’s not easy but I haven’t lost.

Superstar mode is just too much? FIFA is good what’s wrong with it PES makes up and what’s wrong with PES, FIFA makes up, meaning they’re both as good as each other in their own way, but I’d rather play PES. PES 2013 looks like a big contender for FIFA 13 btw I honestly think the PES era is on a return. I stopped playing PES from PES 2009 and never picked up a pro again. I loved FIFA 12 but it does get boring extremely quickly the only thing that people play is ultimate team and online and even that kinda sucks. Career mode is fun but is rubbish because it always crashes, and just has repetitive news and updates, so many top players dont have faces and look nothing like their real appearances, transfers that will never happen, happen, customization is crap, no matter how much you try to make your player look realistic he’ll always look like all the other players with no faces on the game, no new boot updates at all, Shit EA Servers always disconnecting having to pay for features that are already in the game WTF??? So wait you have to pay for online, pay for ultimate team, pay for creation center unlike PES who give you free boots updates, free kit updates ect, unlockables for customization and you wanna back FIFA looool.

In PES 2012 you can buy cool new hairstyles with in game coins that you earn from playing. Unlike FIFA 12 if they release news boots you would probably have to pay a lot for them. PES in general gets new boots updates at the times you actually start seeing real life players wearing the new boots unlike FIFA who put last seasons boots in their latest game because they cant be bothered to add them in their current game FACT.

I got bored of FIFA12 and decided to buy PES 2012 which i didn’t think was good but believe me PES has been completely transformed. PES 2012 Football Life/Become A Legend is amazing and shits on FIFA 12 and probably FIFA 13’s career modes/be a pro modes. There’s cut-scenes showing your created player signing for new clubs, cut-scenes showing interviews by the press, cut-scenes showing you winning personal trophies, cut-scenes of you getting advice from your agent, cut-scenes off your team in the dressing room getting told what to do by the manager. Look at all that fucking realism and tell me FIFA’s better.

The gameplay has also been improve greatly, the dribbilings amazing, the passing amazing ect. Oh yeah also when you play become a legend it shows how many fans you have, theres also pictures of your player playing in games hes played throughout his career, so you can look back and remember when you used to play for a certain club ect. In FIFA 12 When you win cups you just get a shitty cut-scene of your players holding a crappy cup for like 20 seconds. On PES its dramatic when you win trophies with life like scenes, players jumping on each other, hugging ect showing realistic emotions and it makes you feel as if you’ve actually achieved something. PES career mode/become a legend also shows scenes of your team in training doing press ups, kicking balls ect.

Also PES has way better celebrations than FIFA 12. In FIFA 12 the celebrations suck lets face it, players getting stuck and shit its fucked up. In PES players have impressive dancing celebrations, crowd celebrations ect unlike FIFA.

People need to stop hating on PES and look at FIFA. I know that FIFA has brought you stress with crashes, disconnecting, paying for stuff that should be free, loosing your career mode save because of crashing in FIFA 11 AND FIFA 12. People need to appreciate the realism that PES have brought to their games, they do it for you the fans and you throw it in their face, PES has fucking endless features compared to all FIFA’s. All EA & FIFA care about is money, they are fucking lazy cunts and they know you idiots are so brainwashed to thinking that PES sucks that you’ll just buy FIFA every year knowing that the features are probably just gonna be the same.WAKE UP DICKHEADS AND BUY PES AND NO MORE WILL YOU SEE YOU FAVORITE PLAYERS FACELESS. OR EVEN BETTER JUST STICK TO FUCKING FIFA JUST DONT CHAT CRAP ABOUT PES UNLESS YOU FUCKING PLAY IT AND EVERY FUCKING FEATURE IN IT. The thing that makes it even harder to decide which is better is licenses, purely because FIFA can get Prem and all the other leagues in the world, but they dont have Champions League, Europa League, Liberadores and other cups, also in PES you can download updates which include new content such as boots.

In PES you can move players freely in Team Management to your liking unlike FIFA. To be honest this will seem stupid and impossible but imagine FIFA and PES combining to create a super football game, you would get the licenses and kit details as well as stadiums and gameplay from FIFA and you would get face graphics, champions league and other tournaments. I have played fifa since the start and have just started playing pes and have to say I find pes more realistic. Yes fifa has better graphics but the gameplay in pes is far more superior. Here are a few examples 1. In pes you can get subbed in become a legend when either your player is tired or if your manager thinks you are playing rubish, in fifa you can’t get subbed at all in be a pro.

You get tasks you have to complete in game to keep the manager or fans happy. You get to pick desired clubs you would like to play for and sign a contract with a different team if they want you and leave when transfer window opens 4.

It has champions league ect. Also just playing a game in pes feels more realistic, your team-mates make alot more runs when on and off the ball than fifa and every game is different and less predictable than fifa.

I also find that fifa is a lot easier than pes, in fifa I could play on world class and still get past all players from half way line and score a goal where as pes I go on a much easier level and find it much more difficult. I still do like fifa just because of the actual graphics and licensing of teams but find it gets very boring after a couple of hours where as pes I can keep playing..
